Tom Cotton
I have been taking picture for over 40 years, but fell back in love with photography when I fell into a tidal pool in Hawaii in 1999, dunked all my film gear, and thought, “well, time to go digital!”
Since then, I have strived to capture, in both representational and abstract work, the rhythms and patterns, natural and man-made, that inspire and unite us.
My images are captured close to home, hiding in plain sight, or off the beaten path when I’m travelling. I don’t use Photoshop or special effects…there’s plenty of beauty out there to be found and captured “as is.”
For my work in vintage frames, my wife—Liz Cotton—searches out older, well worn and unusual frames; and together, we then conceive and assemble the final pieces. We enjoy combining our aesthetics into one-of-a-kind pieces that we hope will bring you joy for many years.
If you prefer to frame work yourself we sell mounted and matted pieces in limited editions of 100 in various sizes.
