My work begins with a word or phrase, this directs the beginning of the painting from that point on it is process driven. I create with a combination of gesso, acrylic paint, ink, charcoal collage and some oil pastel. I resolve the painting with line, texture, and symbols. My intent is to keep the viewer engaged with a constantly revealed story.
